It cleared today and we had a sunny day on the beach but yesterday we felt the biting chill of the February winds. We wrapped up and still managed a few sandcastles. The satellite dish on the far right of an image shows the impact of the salty spray but who needs Sky Sports ! The surf has been up with some spectacular waves crashing over the breakwater. Needless to say we ended up in the pub to get warm and drink Tinners Ale, eat crisps and play dollies.
